A small guide on some of the best places to efoil in Greece.
Lift Foils produces the best efoils in the market, made from marbled carbon fiber. The material is very hard and very light, ensuring that it is easy to carry and ride. Thanks to the unique material, our efoils are the lightest ones you can find in the market. That alone is a major reason why people prefer Lift Foils over other companies.
Crafting these frames requires refined steel stools matched with very high temperatures. We are the only hydrofoil produces that use it, with the only other companies being racecar manufacturers!
Along with crafting this unique material, we use a great motor that is silent and very fast. You can control the efoil using the accompanied Bluetooth remote, which is also how you can control its speed. It is fairly easy to maneuver, but it has a learning curve.
The efoil also comes with a large Lithium-ion battery, which allows you to ride for up to 100 minutes on a two-hour charge. And if you feel like changing any part of your efoil, you can easily do so.
History
You may know Lift Foils as one of the pioneers of hydrofoils, but they didn’t start as one of the biggest names in space. Instead, their journey started back in 2010, in Puerto Rico, where they opened their first small shop, which was also how they could start making these hydrofoils in the first place. The co-founder, Nick Leason, was responsible for making the first iteration of these efoils, as he wanted to create a surfboard, which could work on any type of water.
Leason was an avid surfer and an exceptional engineer who also happened to be a perfectionist. His tendency to obsess over every minute detail of these efoils allowed him to create the best ones in the business. We ensure that every efoil meets high standards by testing it on the waves before finalizing it.
